Chad is passionate about working with a variety of clients and strives to be an empathetic listener that deeply values client communication.

Knowing he wanted to move into financial planning down the road, Chad interned with a fee-only firm, JSK Financial, in 2017, which eventually merged with Bay Point Wealth in 2020. This jumpstarted his passion for fee-only and client-focused planning. Chad now serves as an Associate Financial Advisor for the Bay Point Wealth team. In this role, he provides analysis and support related to client planning and investment needs.

Prior to joining Bay Point Wealth, Chad completed a year of volunteer service outside of Chicago, Illinois through Brethren Volunteer Service. Before starting his year of volunteer service, Chad worked in Richmond, Virginia as a state auditor through the Auditor of Public Accounts. Chad also has experience working many tax seasons throughout high school and college, allowing him to see the importance of a client’s tax planning needs in the scope of comprehensive financial planning.

Chad recently graduated from Iowa State University with a master’s degree in family financial planning, with a focus on financial counseling. He completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Bridgewater College in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, being outdoors, listening to music, and being a fan of all Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond area sports teams, especially Maryland Terps, and VCU Rams basketball.
