Liz graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where she was an All-Conference Division I volleyball player and co-captain of the Athlete Mentor Program. After graduation, she worked as a business development manager in the DC area for a few years before pursuing a financial planning career in 2013. Why the job change? Behind the scenes, Liz had read her first personal finance book in 2009, paid off $90,000 of student loan debt, and built a home at age 26.
“My personal journey created a new world of freedom, peace, and security. It’s a feeling of fulfillment that I love to experience again and again through my client’s transformations.”
Liz officially obtained her CFP® marks in 2016 while working for Lifetime Wealth Planning and Management, a women-owned firm in National Harbor, MD. In 2018, she joined MainStreet Financial Planning, Inc. to focus on planning-only and build her expertise as a financial advisor for Millennials and Gen Xers. In 2021, her role was expanded to Director of Planning and Implementation where she provided invaluable insights into how MainStreet could thrive through stronger collaboration, better time management, and higher employee engagement. Most recently, Liz joined the Bay Point Wealth team in 2022 with a goal to bring clarity and simplicity to her client’s financial lives - and have some fun along the way.
Liz coaches ambitious and enthusiastic clients throughout the country. She’s a consistent contributor to industry newsletters and blogs and can be spotted at Penn State’s Math & Money course as a guest speaker. She’s actively involved in Anne Arundel Women Giving Together (AAWGT) and serves as a liaison for local non-profits improving the lives of underserved women and children.
Liz grew up in Reading, PA, and is one of five children. When not working, Liz enjoys creating DIY home projects with the help of her patient husband + dancing in the kitchen with her three kids + mastering the Pilates reformer. She lives in Edgewater, MD, and has recently added to her bucket list: “learn to sail”.
